Honestly, I did not own many orange items…until now! In Germany, orange is the color of construction workers, refuse collectors and in the US – well….needless to say.
Inspired by beautiful posts on the gram, I just recently fell in love with this intense color, and I must say: I like it!
To get started on planet orange, I shopped this lovely Top by Zara:

Orange at the office?
Sure, go for it! Combined with a dark suit or dress and matching accessories, orange is a great color for business outfits. My key accessory is an orange ring, which I purchased at the SoHo, NYC flea market in 2009 for only 5 US$! Okay, this does sound very instagrammable now, but it really happened 😂

Orange Beauty
Orange is also new to my beautycase – I just recently opted for a new lipstick (be careful though: orange might make your theeth more „yellowish“ than they actually are…) and a bright orange nail color by essie which I absolutely love, especially when combined with some white sandals… hello summer!
Is orange the new black now?
To get back to my question: To me, orange is not the new black – but it is definitely a hot summer trend and a great way to add a good dash of color to any outfit.
